FID – Chapter 795

Chapter 795: A Misstep!

In a daze, she seemed to hear a faint pop sound.

It felt like it struck directly at the heart, making one’s chest tighten with anxiety.

Liu Muqiu’s fingertips trembled.

The man’s clothing slipped open and fell away to either side as he loosened his belt. He pulled her hand over, gently bit her fingertips, and then guided her hand downward along his lips.

“Curious about what happens in the bridal chamber? Do you still remember what I said that day?” In the darkness, the man’s voice was low and hoarse.

That sentence surfaced in her mind again —He said he’d have her.

Liu Muqiu couldn’t say a word. Her heartbeat pounded wildly, as if it was about to burst from her chest, and her mouth went dry.

Right now, she couldn’t think of anything at all — her mind was blank, consumed only by panic and fear.

The look in the man’s eyes reminded her of a predator hunting on the grasslands.

“Little White Lotus,” he murmured, biting her burning earlobe, “We’re getting married in September. I won’t take you now. But since you’re so curious…I’ll let you understand exactly what goes on in the bridal chamber.”

……

Liu Muqiu regretted her impulsiveness tonight so much that she wanted to die.

Through hands-on demonstration, he made sure she experienced it the entire night.

When she was carried off, she clearly remembered that Xianrou had seen it happen right beside her. How was she supposed to face anyone tomorrow?

While a storm raged over there, on the roof of the distillery, Qian Wanjin was on the verge of losing his mind.

“How could you do that! That kind of thing is supposed to be done by a man! I’m the man here!”

“Yes, yes, you’re the man — absolutely the man,” Shi Xianrou nodded repeatedly to confirm he was right.

“Look, you’ve got what only a man has. I don’t.”

“And knowing that, you still dared to touch me first?!” Qian Wanjin’s face flushed deep red, and he panted heavily through gritted teeth.

Damn it, today had completely crushed his masculine pride!

Normally, it was one thing to let her act a little manly — but even with this kind of thing, she insisted on taking the lead?

Where was he supposed to save face?!

Shi Xianrou flopped flat on her back on the roof, completely unbothered and letting him have at it. “This time I’ll let you go first. Front, back, top, bottom — touch wherever you like.”

“You said it yourself!”

“I said it,” Shi Xianrou replied boldly, jabbing a finger at her chest. “This spot’s not bad — wanna give it a try? Don’t be fooled by how manly I act — plenty of women don’t have as much as I do.”

Qian Wanjin panted even harder, his eyes reddening as he stared fixedly at that spot.

He only regretted not reading enough as it was time to actually use it.

Damn it!

He had gone through Xue Qinglian’s ‘private collection’ over a hundred times, and now — at this crucial moment — he couldn’t remember a single scene!

What was he supposed to do now?

“Do you want me to take you back and grab a few of those collections?”

“No need! You think this Young Master can’t handle it, huh?!”

“Then… do you want me to teach you—”

“Stop right there! I’m the man here! A real man doesn’t need to be taught this kind of thing!” Grinding his teeth, Qian Wanjin pounced.

First strip the clothes — then get down to business!

Whether he knew how or not was a different story — but in a moment like this, as a man, there was no way he could let himself be underestimated.

This concerned a man’s lifetime reputation!

The soft moonlight spilled over the woman’s skin, casting a luminous glow that made one’s mouth go dry and throat parched.

Qian Wanjin gave a bite.

“Hiss! Softer—”

A light moan served as fuel to Qian Wanjin’s fire.

Instinct took over.

When Shi Xianrou realized her strength was draining from her body at lightning speed, she was dumbfounded.

Liu Yusheng’s teasing words had come true —

She ought to change her name to Rouxian Shi!

The main course hadn’t even started, and she was already going limp.

Wha… what… is… happening?!

That night, Xinghua Village was filled with springtime passion everywhere.

Even the village cats caught the mood and yowled nonstop.

“It’s already past spring. Why are the cats still calling so fiercely at night?” Half-asleep and groggy, Fu Yuzheng mumbled in her dreams.

The man beside her curled his lips into a smile and kissed her lightly on the cheek. “Cats don’t need it to be spring to go into heat, do they? Go back to sleep.”

Thankfully, he and Yuzheng had married early — otherwise, the ones in heat tonight wouldn’t have been just a few cats.

The next day, apart from Wei Lan, who left the house with injuries, the other three men all looked refreshed and full of energy — especially Qian Wanjin, who was practically glowing with smug satisfaction.

At the entrance to the second courtyard, the three of them happened to run into each other.

They exchanged glances, and instantly, they all understood without a word.

When joyful things happen, a man’s spirit naturally soars — and everyone knew exactly why they were smiling.

Inside the inner courtyard, the three women also bumped into each other face-to-face.

Each of them glanced at the others’ tired faces and the faint dark circles under their eyes — and all of them looked a little awkward.

As the most experienced of the three, Liu Yusheng quickly composed herself and walked toward the other two. “Got worked over last night, huh?”

“You didn’t have it much easier, did you? Didn’t you guys trample all the vegetables in the garden?” Shi Xianrou raised an eyebrow.

“There’s plenty more vegetables where that came from — the village is full of vegetable plots, we can pick anywhere.”Liu Yusheng bared her teeth in a grin and smiled sweetly.

“Xianrou… maybe we should start calling you Rouxian?”

While the two of them bickered, Liu Muqiu quietly tried to sneak away to the side — only to have Shi Xianrou quickly grab her collar in one swift motion.

Under the collar, a glimpse of her neck — and even the small patch of shoulder that was showing — was covered in bruises and red marks.

“Ohhh—” The two instantly understood. “So intense… definitely Zhiqiu’s style.”

With a whoosh, Liu Muqiu’s face turned red all the way to the roots of her hair. “I didn’t do anything with Zhiqiu!”

“Even if you told that to a dog, the dog wouldn’t believe you.”

In the end, the three of them sighed together in collective regret. “We totally miscalculated last night!”

They always said curiosity killed the cat — and this time, three cats died. Totally wiped out.

Even Shi Xianrou, the tough girl, hadn’t been able to hold her ground.

When the three of them walked together into the front courtyard, the younger generation of the family had already gathered.

Aside from Liu Zhixia and Fu Yuzheng, who both looked completely normal, the rest all had varying expressions.

The moment Qian Wanjin saw Shi Xianrou, he grinned from ear to ear — his big white teeth flashing so brightly it made people dizzy.

If he’d had a tail, it would have been wagging straight into the sky.

Liu Zhiqiu, on the other hand, rested his chin on one hand and glanced sideways at his Little White Lotus, the corners of his lips quirking in an amused smirk.

Feng Qingbai, ever the one to keep a straight face, didn’t show any expression — but when Liu Yusheng walked over, his gaze did sweep meaningfully toward the vegetable garden.

“What’s going on with all of them?” Fu Yuzheng, holding Xiao Maodou in her arms, leaned over and quietly asked Liu Zhixia.

Something felt very off.

Liu Zhixia smiled faintly. “Cats in heat.”

“……”

Over on the other side, Wei Lan walked over with clenched fists, pointing his finger at a few people, one by one. “You. You. Outside.”

He was calling out Qian Wanjin and Liu Zhiqiu.

As for the prince, he could only pretend he saw nothing and closed his eyes.

He couldn’t win that fight.

“Go outside for what?” Liu Zhiqiu shot him a sideways glance.

“To fight!”

“I used up all my strength last night. If you wanna fight, schedule it for another day.”

Qian Wanjin nodded in agreement. “Our Xiao Shi doesn’t have any energy left either. Uncle Lan, you’re not a young man anymore — don’t go bullying the younger generation.”

“You two little punks!” Wei Lan bristled, practically exploding.

Oh, these bastards!

It was bad enough that they eavesdropped…

But not only did they listen — afterward they jumped right into the action themselves! Shameless!

“What are you all making a fuss about? Hurry up and get over here — breakfast’s ready!” From the kitchen, Grandma Liu’s voice rang out, and people swarmed in that direction.

Wei Lan stood there for a moment, breathing deeply to calm down, then dashed toward the kitchen as well.

His wife was still lying in bed; he had to snatch a big bowl of breakfast and bring it to her.

She couldn’t get out of bed, but that didn’t mean she should go hungry.

First rule of the Liu family: the women of the house are treasures. They must be cherished and doted on.

At the breakfast table, with Wei Lan, Qian Wanjin, and Liu Zhiqiu all seated, the battle of words flared up again.

By the time Yan Qi and Uncle Peng arrived, all that was left on the table were scraps.

That was the downside of being a newcomer.
