  Chapter 408: Eye for an Eye

  Bam!

  The door of the private room was kicked open with force.

  Someone interrupted the impending crime.

  Fu Yuxian’s eyes were quenched with poison as she looked through the hole in the direction of the door.

  ”Yuzheng!” The picture of the inner room was presented before Liu Zhixia’s eyes, making his eyes crack!

  The woman was as lifeless as a puppet, lying motionless on the ground. At this moment, even her cool teary eyes were completely devoid of her former vitality.

  Liu Zhixia rushed forward, picked up a stool at hand and bashed at the men’s heads. He didn’t even blink as they collapsed. 

  He quickly covered the woman with his outer shirt. After covering her, he turned around, his eyes filled with killing intent.

  Right this moment, all he wanted was to kill these people!

  ”Young Master Liu, take her away first. We will solve things here,” Wei Zi’s voice rang outside the window and barely pulled back the last trace of sanity in Liu Zhixia.

  He turned around and picked up the silent woman on the ground. When he stepped out of the doorway, he found the shopkeeper standing by the door with his back turned. He whispered, “Young Master Liu, there are many people down there. I will take you from the other side.”

  After speaking, he led the way towards the innermost room. They rounded the corner of the room and opened the wooden panel blocking it, revealing a small staircase leading to the backyard.

  Liu Zhixia hugged the person in his arms and whispered, “Many thanks.”

  ”No thanks. My teahouse was originally about to shut down. If not for Young Boss Qian and Ruyi County Lady’s kind-heartedness, we wouldn’t have been as prosperous now. I’ve been harboring this grace.”

  Liu Zhixia fell silent, and warmth immediately welled up in his chilled heart.

  This was the good karma that Qian Wanjin created with his sister. It was returned to him.

  With Yuzheng’s state at the moment, he would have to take the stairs over there and go through the second floor and the lobby. With them in full view, rumors would surely spread quickly and Yuzheng would be completely ruined.

  From the stairs down to the backyard, the courtyard was empty. The boss opened the small door of the backyard, leading to a small alley. The boss’s carriage was also parked outside.

  In a private room on the third floor, Fu Yuxian and Mrs. Fu knew that things were bad when Liu Zhixia appeared.

  The first thing they did was to get up and leave, but before they could take a step, two men in black dashed into the room and trapped them both.

  Then they were taken away through the window.

  Everything that happened above was quiet the entire process. The tea guests in the elegant seats on the second floor and the lobby of the whole teahouse knew nothing about it.

  Mrs. Fu and Fu Yuxian initially booked the entire third floor because they were worried that the noise and commotion while the men were humiliating Fu Yuzheng would spoil their fun. They wanted to wait until the good play began before leading people up. Unexpectedly, they themselves fell into the pit they dug. 

  No one indeed took notice of the movement in the next room. When they were taken away, no one noticed all the same.

  The mother and daughter were taken to an unoccupied residential house and left in the yard.

  At the same time, the five old men who were given potent drugs, were brought, one of whom was covered with blood.

  ”What do you want?!” This was the first that rang once the mother and daughter were thrown to the ground and their acupuncture points were unsealed. They hugged each other and looked at the black-clad men in front of them in fear.

  ”Our King said that since you’re fond of tricks so much, you should personally participate and enjoy the taste of it.”

  The black-clad man’s reply was like cold winter ice water, pouring down on the head and drenching the mother and daughter to their bones.

  Why should he care about this matter?!

  They had planned so well, and had chosen a teahouse of their acquaintance for this purpose! The Nanling mansion absolutely couldn’t have received the news so quickly, and if they did, what was done could no longer be undone!

  In the open-air courtyard, akin to dry wood meeting hot fire, scandalous moans soon  sounded.

  The winter in the capital was later than in the south, and it was especially cold at night. The chill was severe.

  But the men and women in the courtyard were oblivious to that frost. Instead, they stuck together and passionately went on with it.

  Then, more and more residents gathered nearby and crowded at the wall and the door. While spitefully reviling the people’s public immorality, they watched, burning with righteous indignation.

  They didn’t know who lit up several wind-proof lamps in the courtyard, exposing all the ugliness of men and women inside in their naked glory.

  Some sharp-eyed people recognized the faces of the women in the courtyard, and immediately shrieked.

  ”Aren’t those the Madam and the First Miss of the Fu family in the capital?!”

  ”That’s the two of them! What a way to die! How could they do such a thing? Shame on them!”

  ”The mother and daughter have always loved to be in the limelight, and they always flaunt their wealth in the city. I didn’t expect them to be this crazy in private! Tsk! I’m afraid the Fu family’s head has already worn countless green hats!”

  Rumors about Fu Yuxian in the capital were rife. Nobody in the streets and alleys hadn’t commented on it, and nobody in the entire capital didn’t know about it. However, some of them were still skeptical. Combined with the situation at that time, they guessed that Miss Fu might have offended somebody, or ill luck had fallen on her and she fell into someone’s scheme at that time. She was deemed still innocent. Everybody never would have imagined they’d witness such a thing now. Curses from the residents soared even more viciously. And here they thought she was innocent before.

  The women in the courtyard could hear everything, loud and clear, but they have no control over their actions. Their hands and feet seemed to have a mind of their own, and were totally disobedient. Hence, even if the two were shrouded in shame and resentment and wanted to crawl out of the courtyard to conceal their disgrace, they couldn’t.

  Back in the King of Nanling’s residence,  Liu Zhixia got off the carriage and headed directly to Liuyun Pavilion with the woman in his arms.

  Seeing that they had returned, Feng Qingbai did not say much, nor did he ask anything, let alone bother.

  He left the space completely to the two.

  Only after Wei Zi returned and reported their accomplishment did he get up and go back to his Yuqing Courtyard.

  If Shengsheng were to know what had happened to Fu Yuzheng, she’d probably be upset.

  Then there was no need to tell her about it. Things would always pass.

  As for the Fu family, they would soon disappear in the capital.
