  Chapter 404: Half Bodhisattva, Half Asura

  ”Grandpa, grandma, parents, uncle and aunt, Grandpa Village Chief, no matter what tricks they’re going to play, we will have a solution. You don’t need to worry too much.   Liu Yusheng joked to ease the family’s tension. Qian Wanjin also echoed, “That’s right. If we let you old heroes on the field, where can we still be of use? Look at An Cai, the Xiapo Village chief, once he makes a move, no one else can get ahead of him.”

  Qian Wanjin’s quip caused a burst of laughter in the tightly condensed atmosphere.

  Liu Yusheng followed the cry and opened the door, only to see the tortured and hideous expressions of the two men.

  Wei Hong was sitting on the side drinking tea, while Liu Zhiqiu was licking and gnawing on a cake.

  Xue Qinglian, on the other hand, was emptying his medicine bottles, looking for drugs to smear on the two men.

  ”Lucky Nannan, have all the people outside gone?”

  After righting An Cai’s fractures, Xue Qinglian and Liu Zhiqiu made their way to the second courtyard.

  The items in the courtyard were more enjoyable than the idle chatter outside.

  ”Did you get anything from them?” The corners of Liu Yusheng’s mouth twitched.
