Chapter 393: You Have Nothing, Why Would I like You?
”Just wash it if it’s dirty.” She looked up and laughed. Her words were all unconcerned.
”Tsk!” Liu Zhiqiu suddenly smacked his lips and muttered, “Women are really troublesome.”
This remark made Li Junyue confused. How was she troublesome? She didn’t bother him with anything, and she even helped him with his work.
Her arms were so sore that she almost couldn’t straighten her waist, but she didn’t cry out of exhaustion.

Liu Zhiqiu smacked his lips again, turned around and put on his cotton jacket, and then carried the hoe. “Let’s go. It’s late, and you should also go back. Don’t dawdle in my house.”

The two exchanged no words all the way back to the entrance of the Liu family compound, where the Li family carriage was parked.
When Li Junyue was about to get on the carriage, the man turned around. “Wait here.”

He closed his eyes and let out a long breath.
He knew what his sister was worried about.
He was indeed guilty of being bewitched.
He actually voiced out surprising insights.
His sister was worried that Li Junyue was coveting the development of the Liu family, so she approached him for a purpose. How could he not see that her motives were impure?
In the end, his affairs had troubled Nannan, and the biggest reason for this was his unclear stance.
